As reported by WYRK in the article “The ONLY People Allowed On The Roads During A Travel Ban,” the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Erie, Genesee, and Wyoming counties, with whiteout conditions expected across Western New York this weekend. Blizzard warnings are in effect from Saturday morning through early Monday.

The storm, forecasted to dump 1 to 3 feet of snow with wind gusts up to 65 mph, has already forced changes to major events, including the postponement of the Buffalo Bills’ playoff game. More importantly, the storm has triggered a county-wide travel ban in Erie County, beginning at 9 p.m. on Saturday night.
